NUTRIENT REQUIREMENTS OF BEEF CATTLE REVISED
The National Research Council has published the Seventh Revised Edition of
the "Nutrient Requirements of Beef Cattle." This publication is a
significant revision of the previous edition. One major improvement is that
this document expands the description of different cattle. Requirements are
also defined in terms of a greater variety of management and environmental conditions
than was possible in previous editions. In addition, this edition includes presentation
of requirements using computer models. Copies of the "Nutrient Requirements
of Beef Cattle, Seventh Revised Edition" are available for purchase from
